Emissions Systems on 19+ RAM Trucks?

I was told by several shops that they have figured out the emissions systems on these 19+ Trucks (and anything post-2016) to the point that they will last at least 350k miles without worry.

I was told that DPF filters may still need to be cleaned at some point, but other than that, they aren't causing engine failures, and that fuel economy is back from the 5.9L standard rail days (I can say for a fact I see 22+mpg on the highway in my 2500 (empty).

I was wondering if this is b.s. or not.

I am not looking to make a faster truck, as I want a hard-working/reliable truck.

I noticed that the truck wants to go in Regens a little more frequently since it got colder out.

I was wondering what everyone's experience has been.

I know the 07 trucks had a crap ton of issues.

It would be nice to keep the factory warranty, but it would be nicer not to need to use it to begin with.

They are better than the previous generations.

Still have a ways to go, but it will get there.

The DPFs seem to be a lot better.

I don’t see nearly as many issues with DPFs and EGR systems as with 2018 down trucks.

I still see about the same amount of def repairs as previous generations.

It’s almost the exact system they used on the 2018 downs, and they use more def on the 2019 ups.

Yup, they do, but the dealer told me they excluded the DEF sensor in the latest builds due to supply chain issues, and there is a TSB out if you want to get that DEF sensor installed (it will require a dealer reflash).

I've heard of all the DEF issues so far stemming from DEF freezing up in cold weather.

If you are in warmer climates, it's not an issue.
