I got parts ordered last night and emailed Ray this morning.

He had a tune ready in about an hour!

I've been looking at valve covers, and nothing has caught my eye yet.

I was thinking about getting everything powder coated in Cummins Red.

A buddy of mine runs a shop and got me in touch with a guy who does incredible custom aluminum work, he said he'd get back to me about the valve cover.

If the price is right, I may go that way.

    Who knows.

I personally like their valve covers.

    Just spendy.

Re: Build Advice - Turbo/Injector Sizing?

Alright, everything but the new CP3 is installed, and I'm waiting on a new oil drain line because the stock bendy aluminum one is just miserable.

I figured I'd put new coolant in, but I'm at a loss h re.

The coolant I drained is opaque pinkish-r.

I bought Dex-cool, but now I'm not sure.

I know it's orange, and I'm sure OAT coolant is what I need.

I've been told Dex-Cool, Zerex G05, or Zerex red?).

No one had the Mopar stuff in stock.

Edit: With so many different types of coolant, I don't know what can be mixed and not mixed, and I know the Fiat-RAM thing led to some trucks having additional coolant colors.

So any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't worry too much about the color, but you are correct; OAT coolant is specified for your 2017.

Do not mix OAT coolant with anything other than OAT coolant.

Re: Build Advice - Turbo/Injector Sizing?

It's been a long road, but she's done.

Shoutout to Ray from DRD; his tunes are impressive.

Hardly any black smoke, but I still have the stock trans for now.

I am getting a Revmax trans and converter next month.

Anyone looking into the Pusher "adds a turbo" kit should know that 4-8 hours of installation time is pretty much only if the motor is removed.

And if you have an aftermarket exhaust, don't cut anything until you're ready to mate up the exhaust piping.

Their "sliding" downpipe is a good idea, but it doesn't necessarily meet up exactly where the install manual tells you it will.

And if you ever plan on replacing your factory turbo, do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket turbo oil drain.

That half *** bendy aluminum drain would be a pain in the butt to get back in, especially if you moved it around a bit trying to remove one turbo and install 2.

The best advice, get a couple of sixers of cold beer, some pizza, and call a friend or two.

I was surprised at first because the exhaust seemed a lot quieter than just the stock turbo.

I got to thinking, and my best guess is that by the time the air passes through the atmo turbo, it's about out of enthalpy, with lower temperature and pressure.

I initially thought it would be louder and a bit obnoxious, but I was incorrect.

I'm not complaining by any means, and i know my neighbors aren't.

Big thanks to everyone here who gave their advice and helped out.

    I truly appreciate it.
