Low voltage seems to play a part; I noticed unplugging the tuner also helps, and the truck is on trickle charge when it's cold also helps.
I suspect you have a parasitic battery drain or a bad cell in one of the new batteries.

The MM3 will typically draw 125 milliamperes which doesn’t help but won’t cause the issue itself.

I had similar problems with my 3 1/2-year-old AGM’s; see the link below.

I get a scenario where my charging system doesn't always work when first started; it may wait up to a minute, but it always works.

I am unsure why; I only notice it because I have the volt gauge.

The engine ECU has controlled the Mopars alternator since the 80s, it's where our voltage regulators live, so I assume this is normal.

My RAM has done this since new.

(A little off-topic, but a good fix for any Mopar that uses engine ECU for voltage regulator)

In my early days, I was working on a Chrysler product car with no charge and a bad voltage regulator (ECU), but the engine ran fine.

It was one of our used cars; I was assigned the task and ended up wiring in an earlier exterior voltage regulator like this:

Run 12V in the RUN position to the top terminal (blue wire) and also to one of the brush leads (F1 or F2), and the other brush leads to another terminal (green wire), and ground reg body, done.

My brother had a Yamaha that the regulator quit on, and we also wired in one of these.

    Oh, one of these too.

    I've never seen that message.

My truck is kept in a heated garage at home but sits outside during my 12-hour shifts at work.

Hopefully, nothing, and it's gone for the trip home, LOL!

Thinking since there are no digital gauges or display that cluster failed to perform its self diag.

Apparently, it has something to do with the garage door opener.

    Thanks Bob!

That does make sense! (sort of) I have three garage doors, and each button in my truck is programmed for one.

Guess if it doesn't open up today when I get home, I'll know why!

The door opened fine, and that error did not reappear on the trip home.

You have to find time for some truck love and check those grounds and codes.
