    p7100 pump conversion

    I have a 91 d250 and have been thinking about converting the ve pump to a p7100 pump what all is involved and how difficult would it be to do this conversion?

    Need to pull the front timing cover, remove the vp, install and time the 7100 gear, install the 7100 also timed to timed to the gear, install the custom bent fuel lines, run power wire to fuel solenoid, hook up fuel lines, purge lines and start up engine

    Not really, because you can use the old one, the advantage of the other covers is a timing hole
