1,500 Miles On New Truck - Used 5 Gallons Of DEF Fluid?

I just bought a 2022 RAM 2500 4-door Mega Cab 4x4, and I'm 1,500 miles into it, and I have already gone through 5 gallons of Def, and it's getting 15 mpg.

Does that sound like a problem?

I had towed 1,500 miles before and never used that much Def.

Not to count, my 2015 RAM 2500 would get 20 mpg right off the bat.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with the 2022 RAM DEF usage.

If this helps any, when my 2014 3500 was stock, and I towed my Fifth Wheel, I would go through 2 1/2 gallons of DEF every 500 miles and average 8 mpg.

It seems like average consumption; mine is slightly more, and fuel mileage has been 13.4mpg for the past 36k with mixed loads.

I do not recall getting into the 20mpg on a tank, maybe 17-18 with conservative throttle use
