Here are my thoughts on it.
Steed speed failed to produce enough manifolds to keep up with demand; there were times when eta was 8-12 weeks.
Naturally, people are going to look for alternatives, both consumers and retailers.
I don’t know the whole story, but from what's being said, it seems like Evil Fab sent this manufacturing company a manifold to reverse engineer.
It may not be illegal, but to me, it’s wrong.
Smedling has been ripping off everyone’s parts, including steed speeds manifold, and selling subpar copies at almost the same price as the real thing.
If they did indeed send a manifold overseas to get copied, it makes me wonder why a company that can manufacture their own second Gen piping kits couldn’t do a little r&d and send specs for their own manifold to get designed.
