I almost bought a kit over Thanksgiving.
I didn’t personally receive the email so I can’t give more info.

Julie posted it and it got passed around from there.

Here are my thoughts on it.

Steed speed failed to produce enough manifolds to keep up with demand; there were times when eta was 8-12 weeks.

Naturally, people are going to look for alternatives, both consumers and retailers.

I don’t know the whole story, but from what's being said, it seems like Evil Fab sent this manufacturing company a manifold to reverse engineer.

It may not be illegal, but to me, it’s wrong.

Smedling has been ripping off everyone’s parts, including steed speeds manifold, and selling subpar copies at almost the same price as the real thing.

If they did indeed send a manifold overseas to get copied, it makes me wonder why a company that can manufacture their own second Gen piping kits couldn’t do a little r&d and send specs for their own manifold to get designed.

    Re: Turbo/Injector Upgrades?

    Thanks, everyone, for the help!

What would be the benefit of the S464 or the S467?

Also, what hp range would I be in with either one or 60hp injectors?

With the S464 on a 6.7L, added fuel is a waste.

Only go with an S464 if you want to stay stock fuel.

S467 need extra fuel IMO, people will say they spool fine on stock fuel, but I feel they do best with 60-100% overs.

Agree on adding fuel with an S467.

    Re: Turbo/Injector Upgrades?

So S467 with 60% injectors should be solid?

What kind of power increase would that be like, worth it?

I went with 100% overs on my S467.

HP should be somewhere between 700-800.

Don't forget to upgrade your transmission as well.

You might as well have reliable power, just my two cents.

What would your prediction be for a S464 and rebuilt injectors?

About the same as a stock turbo 500ish max.

I’d only go with S464 if you are set on a second Gen swap and don’t have plans to go above stock fuel.

I have a Smeding 2nd Gen swap with their billet wheel S467.7/.83/1.0 turbos.

It has been running for 70K miles.

I tow a 14,000 trailer on occasion with it.

    No problems at all.

I can spool it to around 50-52PSI of boost on my most aggressive tune.

I called them once to get some advice on going to an S472 and found them very helpful with advice.
