    I Purchased Xotic Head Studs

Tonka Toy and I picked up some new xotic head studs for our 6.7s.

They look pretty solid, and from some of the reviews I found and read comparable to ARP, the best part is Canadian.

I look forward to the spring when she's not -30 to install ours together simultaneously, just like the good old days.

    I did Xotic last spring.

Did the re-torque after about two weeks.

I had several that needed just a slight turn.

Also, reset all the valve clearances as the studs pull the head slightly tighter than the head bolts.

My 2013 6.7 has had several people comment on how quiet and smooth it is.

It had 125k when I did it.

Well worth the price and time.

So the time has come; my head gasket blew. I'm so back and forth on what studs to go with.

Everyone says ARP is the one to go with, but I'm curious how you all like the Xotics.

    Has anyone tried the IFGs?

I'm not looking to make crazy power after fixing the gasket, but I want to stud it and get a better tune from DRD; just curious about anyone's input before I make the plunge.
