RaceME Ultra CT - PID’s Reading Incorrectly

    I have a 2021 3500 Cummins with a 68RFE.

I deleted and tuned with RaceME Ultra CT box tunes a month and a half ago.

The truck still runs fine, and I can reflash the truck just fine.

However, a couple of days ago, I started having problems with my PIDs reading incorrectly.

For example, the gear will show a value up to 55 at the time (-1 to 6 is the correct range).

Boost also shows values of like 35psi at times when using a quarter throttle and most likely running in the 5psi range.

The truck runs excellent, and I will be getting warp tuning from ray soon after I upgrade the valve body to a billet revmax.

The truck is performing as it has been.

It is just the PID values that are wrong and seem glitchy.

The values glitch back and forth between different values while driving in the same gear.

Also, occasionally if I load a different tune using SOTF, it will just sit there and spin and not load.

I was also able to reflash my truck today with no issue.

I don’t know if I need to update the firmware or what the deal is.

Let me know if anyone has had this issue and has a solution.

I will call RaceME Canada tomorrow to see what they think the PID values issue could be.

I have done the normal unplug the unit from the back as well as from the OBD2, and that does not resolve the issue.

Once again truck runs excellently, and the performance hasn’t changed; just incorrect PID values are showing.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

You may want to check for intermittent loose connections at the J1939 Data Link Connector under the hood and the communication module under the dash.

Also, the connection between the two parts of the communication module is under the dash.

Either way, please keep us posted on the final fix.

Update: Still having the same issue.

I have returned all hardware and have the same issue with the new equipment.

They say it is an issue with RAM and the Uconnect 12.

Is anyone else having an issue, or is it just me?

I don’t know if this is related to what you are experiencing, but some MM3 owners with newer trucks are having issues.

Yeah, it sounds like the same issue.

It looks like we are just out of luck.

It just doesn't sit right with me has to be some workaround or fix.

Also, if I get Ray's WARP tunes, I will probably have the same issue it sounds like.

    I am having similar issues.

PIDs are not all correct; transmission gear actual and boost as mentioned.

I also see NA show up for any PIDs randomly; sometimes, all gauges show NA.

I also am now experiencing the 12" radio display rebooting after an hour or more of running; I never had that issue before.

To connect any dots, who's tune are you running?

    Mine is through Explosive Diesel.
