Bed Stack 4th Gen North Carolina

Just curious if any members on here have an exhaust stack on an emissions truck in the bed, especially here in NC.

Now, this is just a thought, and I am sure doing so would push my luck with how diesels are being attacked.

I won't lie, though; I sometimes miss the days with my 7.3 with a stack.

Just not when I melt my groceries and bags, LOL.

I used to have a 1998 12 valve that I put stacks on.

Even put the rain flappers caps on it. LOL

I wish I still had this truck.

    Man, did it sound good.

I remember @DiggerDave installed some stacks.

I haven’t heard from him in quite a while.

Oh man, that truck was in great shape and is going for some money now.

I hate looking back at some of the vehicles I have owned and being like I wish I still had it.

I will post two of the 40 vehicles I owned at only 38 years old.

I won't sell my 2016 if that says anything after owning all the others.

I meant to quote you in my last post.

Are you in NC, and do you get pulled over or have issues?

Yes, sir, I wish I had that truck still.

The cab mounts rusted completely through three of them, and the bottom of the doors and fenders started bubbling thru the paint.

My 2016 3500 Laramie is the best truck I’ve ever owned, and like you, I’m holding onto it forever.

That is one bad Challenger you have.

I just sold my 2019 Charger Scat Pack to buy my wife a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the extreme recon package.

    No, man, I'm in Canada.

We dont have the EPA here, so we don't get jacked up, LOL.

What part of NC are you in?

I know it's become more of a "Purple" state these days, much like Georgia, but I'm in a deep red area, so I'm not worried at all.

Honestly, I'd pull up a county-by-county voting map for your area.

If it's red, you're good to go.

If, however, it's Blue, or you regularly travel through Blue areas?

You better leave the stacks off of it, IMHO.
