    OBD2 Splitter?

Has anyone used or tried an OBD2 splitter?

I want to try one, so I can use my remote start adapter and performance monitor.

OBD2 splitters in conjunction with the MM3 are generally not recommended.

Some devices will cause conflicts with the MM3 when sharing.

If you decide to give it a go, please keep us posted.

I use this splitter for AMP steps and MM3.

No issues but, like Bob said, some devices cause problems.

    Re: OBD2 Splitter?

    UPDATE: I received the splitter.

I have no issue with the remote start adapter plugged in, but I'm having a problem with my MM3.

When I start my truck, the MM3 appears to be trying to load.

Sometimes it makes it to the part where you have to agree and will load completely.

Most of the time, it just spins.

I have just unplugged it and used the remote start only.

I take it that the programmer needs continuous power, and the splitter I purchased doesn't allow it.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the splitter is probably 99% of your MM3 issue.

Another issue could be weak batteries.

Which remote start are you using?

I will use a gateway module, dongle, and JScan to activate my factory remote start, but I understand it all gets unplugged after you activate the sales code.

I have an MM3 as well and don’t want to use a splitter.

    Re: OBD2 Splitter?

Dodge or Uconnect changed providers, so I have to use the adapter they sent me to use the remote start from my phone.

The adapter has to be plugged in to be able to use my phone to start.

I use this mainly when I'm at work and out of range for the fob to work.

I don't want to get into the issues I'm having with the fob, LOL.
