OK, with space hard to come by without interfering with anything else, I have a Panavise Flex mount, which comes off the lower side of the trans hump and allows my radios to float and face me; I can rest my arm on the console, best spot IMHO.

And with a wing nut and a ball socket mount, I can pop off all radio hear from the pedestal if needed.

I did this some time back but just sharing it with others here.

The top radio is a CB with 10 and 12 meters; the bottom radio is a 2-meter and a 70CM (VHF and UHF FM)

The shift knob for the handshaker is from Genos.

I love my G56 with my new Southbend Clutch!
