    Painful 68RFE Trans Relearn

    Dang, this is hard!

    In a way, I've already failed!

    We're supposed to stay under 50% TP, but I have been over four times in 160 miles.

    Not by much, 51 or 52. No more than 52.36%.

    It's surprising how little toe I give to get over 50%!

    The new setup promises to be a lot of fun.

    It's so much more responsive, and the exhaust sounds great!

    Do you guys think I've ruined the re-learn by going over 50% of those times?

    The best part of this so far is that in 120 miles, I've gone from 9.1 miles a gallon to over 13!

    AMP Research Power Step XL, MM3 w/DRD Tunes, S&B CAI, 22" American Truxx wheels, 37" Amp Terrain Attack tires, lift (unknown brand). Future mods include 5" turbo back Flo-Pro w/o muffler and possibly ARB on board air compressor with truck horns and air bags.

    I think you should be fine.

    1-2% over shouldn’t affect it, in my opinion.

    I agree.

    Doing my transmission, I was merging onto a highway and got above the typical TP.

    Truck shifts like a Bute.

    So where are you seeing the percentage at?

    I haven't done mine yet it's still stock, but it's like you're reading it somewhere on a monitor does, does it show you that on the MM3?

    Under “PID Configuration” go to the “Percentage” menu and scroll to “Throttle Position”.

    The MM3 is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

    It will show anything you'd ever want to see with your truck, has max recorded on display for each PID, and you can set high/low alarms too.

    It's an outstanding tool!

    It's the best thing you can do for a Cummins, hands down.
