    Trans Tuning?

    I recently bought a 16 2500; it’s been tuned and has a 2nd Gen turbo swap.

The transmission had been replaced with supposedly a 600HP sun coast, although I don’t see that as an option on their site.

I’m assuming it’s 500 based on the amount on the receipt.

The truck runs well, but it feels like the tune is off/isn’t making the power it should with what’s been done.

I spoke to the company that tuned it and verified the tune had not been updated for the turbo or the trans.

They asked me where I wanted to be with line pressure.

    I’m lost at that point.

They said they could get it up to like 200.

I don’t want to mess the transmission up.

I am trying to get a hold of Sun Coast, but I wanted to ask what a good safe number is.

    Re: Trans Tuning?

If the trans is built, 200psi is just fine.

The valve body should also be built (confirmed with Suncoast) to handle the increased line pressure, so I would confirm that.
