Looking For A New Hitch For Towing?

Picking this girl up soon and need to get my weight distribution hitch set up so I can pull my trailer.

The truck has a 6” lift.

    I’m estimating I’ll need a 10-12” drop.

I can find the drop pins, but I am having difficulty finding a weight distribution setup that will work.

I found the Gen Y hitch, and I like the frame-mounted supports it has, but I can’t find it with weight distribution.

I appreciate any help I can get.

The only weight distribution hitches I’ve seen are not able to drop that much.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in with better info.

Years ago, I had a bumper pull camper that I pulled with a half-ton truck and used a weight distribution hitch.

I hate those hitches, always creaking loud and sometimes breaking chains/mounts when I turn sharp.

Then I bought a Cummins, which was way heavier, and towed the trailer way better.

I didn’t need the sway control/weight distribution style hitch any longer.

    It towed like a dream.

It might be worth at try to tow with a regular hitch to see how it feels.
