Exhaust Fitment Question - 13-18 RAM - 19+ RAM

This might be a stupid question, but I have an exhaust for a brand new exhaust for a 13-18, but I’m thinking of trading my 17 for a 19+ and was wondering if the exhaust would still work or what parts I might need to make it work.

Or do I need to sell it and get a new one?

Also, what are the main differences between the 4th Gen 6.7Ls and the 19+ engine-wise?

The exhaust is entirely different.

The downpipe uses a V-band clamp.

I’m talking about an aftermarket exhaust, and I’m pretty sure the 13-18s are V-bands too.

Down pipe placement is different.

The turbo sits lower on the 19 up trucks.

17 will sound more like a traditional Cummins; I know the newer compacted graphite iron they use in the blocks attenuates sound better, so there is less noise.

I know for a couple of years, they went to CP4 and then back to CP3, so keep that in mind.

17 is a great model year, but I'm biased and not in your shoes, LOL.
