    1997 12v auto?

Looking at this truck has 260 miles on it. Im wondering if these years are good buys and how many miles can I add to it. Clean truck new dash oem, new fuel sending unit. Headliner , a/c evap. Farmboy 5in exhaust , hi flow air filter, slightly modded fuel pump ( not sure what that means) wants 5500. Thank you for any info. Im looking to pull a boat and jobs around the house. Not looking to hot rod it. I hear you can put alot of miles on them.

Since we can't see it, maybe this will help you.

Look and see how much is coming out of the blow by tube under the engine while it's running. If it's puffing like a locomotive, get a second opinion
