    RaceME Ultra Monitor EGT?

    Hello!

    New member here.

Hoping someone or a bunch of people can help out.

    I got a 2016 3500 w/ Aisin trans.

I just installed the RaceME Ultra and deleted the EGR, DPF/SCR & Cat Delete.

I want to monitor my EGT using the rear block off-plate threads.

Do you have a link to where I can purchase the probe and how/where to connect it?

Thank you all for your help!

I’m pretty new to this, but damn, it’s a lot of fun.

    Haha.

If you have the newer RaceME Ultra, you could use this probe.

If you deleted the EGR system, then the probe will be installed in the rear exhaust manifold block off the plate.

If the EGR system remains in place, you will need to drill and tap the exhaust manifold to install the probe.

    Awesome!!

    Thank you so much!

    I appreciate the quick reply.

    I'll order it tonight!

I'll be towing my fiver in 4 weeks to Indy for repair work, so I want to ensure it's good to go.

Also, what setting do you have hours at?

    Basic delete or advanced delete?

Sorry, unable to answer your question; I have the MM3 tuner.

Hopefully, other RaceME Ultra users will reply.

As best as I could tell, when I was running the Ultra box tunes, the "basic delete" was just a delete tune with the option of increasing duration (HP).

It's not bad, but it doesn't take full advantage of all other parameters.

I believe it doesn't include transmission tuning either, which is a great thing to have. IMO advanced tuning all the way.

This is what I would suggest when flashing your ECM:

    -advanced delete
    -23 degrees timing
    -30 hp duration
    -1850 BAR
    -transmission tuning for stock transmission
    -quick spool

It will suggest the economy spool as a default, but if you monitor the VGT position, it is the most aggressive setting, while the quick spool is in the middle.

Once you flash this on your truck, you can use the "switch" feature to up the power if you feel you need to.

I wouldn't go above 120 HP without adjusting other parameters in conjunction.

I wouldn't go above 120 unless you're unloaded and understand the risks.

The 32 degrees of timing and 1900 BAR rail pressure settings should never be used unless you know what you're doing.
