So about a month or so ago, I got a low coolant level code on the dash after recently doing the replacement radiator and new Amsoil coolant.

Obviously, I checked the coolant, and it wasn't low, and as a matter of fact, it's always a half-inch above minimum cold.

So I know there is a sensor on the bottom of the reservoir tank.

I was headed out that day to get the new sensor, and the code randomly went away.

I ended up replacing the sensor anyway, figuring it was possibly going bad, and the sensor was only twenty-five dollars to replace.

So everything went well on a replacement at that time.

Now fast forward a month or more later, and yesterday the stupid code came back.

Again the coolant is right where it was over a month ago.

So I did some research, and apparently, there is a magnet in the reservoir and changing the sensor only won't correct the issue.

You have to replace the whole coolant tank due to stuff possibly messing with the magnet in there.

Has anyone had this issue or experience?

I am assuming I just loosened some crude in there to trip the sensor, and I am probably better off just getting a new tank.

I wouldn't say I like having random codes to ignore.

I wanted to fix it, as it annoys me.

Thanks, everyone, and I appreciate any feedback.
