    I'll probably just let the light stay on until im doing something else.

    Maybe ill save a few bucks from each paycheck, LOL.

    I know this thread is a little over a year old, but maybe someone searching in the future can benefit from this information I just found.

    I, too, have the low coolant light, and my actual level is acceptable.

    I have done a lot of digging on how the coolant sensor works in the reservoir, and this YouTube video is by far the best.

    This video shows how to test the sensor (and potentially trick the sensor into thinking your coolant level is fine if you wish to do so to keep your light off the dash).



    This video shows him cutting the reservoir in half to show you how the magnet works inside the reservoir.
