Our local NAPA store finally has some Rotella T6 in stock.
Talk about price gouging, the price per gallon has doubled.

Amazon has it for under $25 per gallon, I just picked up 3 gallons myself.
Walmart has it for 24 bucks a gallon, but it goes quick check frequently.

Quite a bit cheaper per gallon.
I switched to O'Reilly house brand oil for the summer.
Lot cheaper, and the truck runs fine.
I'll end up switching to 5W-40 when winter comes along.

I use the Rotella 15W-40 in my '18, and $40/gal would be a bargain.
Cheapest I have found is $65/gal.
I can get the Amsoil for around $30/gal, and availability is good, so that I will be switching following the oil change.

Yeah, at this point, I have been a loyal T6 user and don't change as much as most (it's about annually for me).
Last year I ended up with Hot Shots Secret Blue Diamond oil which is very boutique, but both my diesels seem to be running great.
I like their fuel additive, so I didn't mind trying it.
It was about $45 a gallon delivered for me; I like HSS as they ship for free, and you can usually get a 10-15% coupon code.
As mentioned, if we are getting into $40ish a gallon, you are in the boutique territory, so Amsoil looks affordable.
The gray bottle is $32 a gallon on preferred pricing (5W-40, their standard Heavy Duty Diesel oil, which I'm sure is excellent), or treats yourself to $45 a gallon for the black "Max Duty" oil.
Just for the fact that its a pain in the rear constantly checking our local stores for T6, I'd probably do HSS again this year or go to Amsoil's -
Walmart has 2.5-gallon jugs for $63 around here, and generally, the local stores keep 8-10 on hand.
