    Do you know if it's had any tranny or clutch work done? The nv4500 had problems with the nut on 5th gear backing off then you lose 5th gear

    Alright yea you might wanna double check cause a clutch is fairly pricey in the diesels along with the tranny.

    If the truck has a 53 block and it already has 190xxx on it then chances are that block isn't ever going to crack or blow and freeze plugs.

    Your bs of the 53 block probably won't crack, with that many miles on it, and not to.mention the fellow if he buys will probably start upping the hp and torque rating,

    We got a few 53 blocks here at work that have blown apart after 3000 hrs which nothing was done to them

    Ive got my eyes on a 12v 97 right now , think im gonna stay away from from the issue if I can.
