S&B Filter Install?

So I've watched the video seems pretty easy as it should be, but why am I having so much trouble with the seal/filter/intake arm?

I can't seem to figure out which way it goes.

Does anyone suggest a video or something?

Cause it shouldn't be this hard.

The S&B video doesn't show in depth which way it all goes.

I guess nobody but me has had a problem getting the filter, the seal from the box, and the intake arm to stay together properly.

I don’t know if you have watched this video, so I have added a link.

Hopefully, this will help while you wait for someone who has experienced the same issue.

If you cannot resolve this issue, I would call S&B tomorrow for technical support.

Yeah, that's the video I watched, Sir, for the 19+ model years, but it doesn't go into detail.

The problem is I put the filter, housing seal, and intake arm all together then it all comes apart.

Which isn't such a big deal if the one sensor wouldn't be up against the filter housing if it's not together correctly.

When I put my S&B on my 21, it just took a little adjusting to get everything where it fits the best.

I didn’t care for the pita grommets on the bottom of the S&B air box.

I got 2 out of 3 grommets.

Did you have the filter and all that put together before or after you got it all situated in the engine bay?

I would have it all together, and then when I dropped it in the bay, it just came apart.

I should get rid of the grommets; then it would go in more accessible and have less chance to come apart.

I had mine all together (I think) but loose enough to adjust.

I had since had it out when I also installed the bypass coolant filter.

Grommets were still a severe pain in the a$$.

That was the most significant issue; they don’t seem to line up the best.
