    Fuel Filter Replacement?

Do you run the FASS filters for those of you running a FASS on your rigs?

Or is there a better alternative?

I've seen the Donaldson filter as well as the CAT filters.

Just curious if the FASS filters are as good as if there are better ones.

    Thanks.

I run a FASS on mine.

The specs on them are as good or better than all the others on the market I have seen.

I think the next runner-up would be the cat filters.

I am assuming that you have a FASS pump on your truck already?

This is what I run with.

They have the general size filters, as well as the XL size.

I prefer to use the normal size just because they already seem to hang low.

I'm always in the woods climbing through trails for scouting/hunting, hints because I don't want a log to hit the filters or screw up the bracket, etc.

I would say, IMO, FASS is the leading developer on the fueling side for performance, reliability, price vs. competitors, and customer service.

Any particular filter from them, I wouldn't hesitate to put one on.

    Yes, I do.

I had seen the CAT filters and was leaning towards them if it's worth it.

I have the same pump on my truck.

Good to know the proprietary filters are as good as the aftermarket.
