New LPM - Lots Of Questions!

I just paid for my membership.

    Glad to be here!

I’m not new to the Cummins game, but I have been out of it for a while.

    I’ve had an ‘01 2500, ‘06 2500 and ‘08 3500.

    Just bought a ‘18 3500 regular cab dually 4x4 w/Aisin tranny.

I’ve already added Fuel Maverick dually wheels, Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/65R20, smoked cab lights/bed lights and tail lights.

About to order a Thuren front leveling springs w/Bilstien shocks.

Also looking for better fuel mileage unloaded and towing so I’m about to read up on the MM3 some more.

    Thanks for having me!

First 2 questions: since I have the Aisin tranny, is my motor the HO?

Since nobody makes tranny tuning for the Aisin yet, is there any point in paying so much for an MM3 and tunes?

I do not want crazy power, just better fuel mileage unloaded and towing.

    Thanks!

    Nice rig!

I’ve always liked the single cab fat bottom trucks.

    Me too.

I’ve wanted a single cab dually for the last 30+ years.

    I finally got one!

(Not sure why the 2nd pic isn’t showing up.)

Welcome, buddy; glad to have you with us.

In my opinion, I would still go with the MM3 reason being.

Tuning is much more than just with the trans.

The doc is the best in the business, providing the truck and yourself ease, comfort, and of course, Power.

You can get everything from 30 to 200hp gains.

If you're into the sound features, you will have an F-35 Jet every time you drive "whistle tune" to the 12V sound.

The biggest thing for me is there is no middleman involved in making their share for the tune, and it's you and him, questions, concerns, and troubleshooting related problems.

I suggest coming here first for questions if you do run into one.

We're here for you in either direction you go.

    Again, welcome to the family.
