Man, the volunteers/buddies loves my homemade stew.

I make it so thick and hearty, loaded up with meat chunks.

    They all want the recipe.

Double J Stew: Crock post set on low, cut up stew meat into smaller sizes, I use Milwaukee scissors, dump in 2 bags of frozen mixed vegetables, dice up some small round potatoes into halves or quarter sizes and a packet of McCormick beef stew seasoning, add water I don't add lots, want it thick, not runny.

Go to work all day, come in the cabin, and smell that nice thick hearty stew.

I call it "The Double J Stew".

Double J Ranch also has Double J Pizza.

Take a thin wide loaf of bread, french or regular, cut it lengthwise, spread garlic butter all over the cut side, smear pizza sauce (mine comes from a jar ie Ragu), and then sprinkle it with shredded mozzarella cheese, then lay on pepperoni slices, bought at the deli section of the store, add it some bacon bits, same used for salad, you can add whatever else you wanted, then a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese again, locks on the meat in place.

Place on a sheet pan over on foil at 400 degrees for about 17 to 20 minutes, it's delicious.

While I was up there, made a run into town and we have a section of the county road that is dirt, well maintained no dust.

They were treating it, stopped on my way back and spoke to the guy talking to the tanker driver and he came to my open window and said, Man, nice truck, poked his head into the window, said nice interior.

So took it as a compliment.

Asked him what they were putting down, and he said magnesium chloride.

I asked him if it was corrosive, and he said yes, that he would go wash it off.

So I went down to the well cage and rinsed all the underside of the truck.

He kept commenting on how he liked my truck, gave him a shot of my air horns, and he liked that too, told him, its a big truck, and may as well sound like one.

Re: My Cabin Property On 40 Acres

Started on my little fire-fighting trailer, and the plan is to have it completed before the next cabin run.

I just had the frame perimeter done, zip to town, bought more steel, pre-cut all my parts, fabricated my axle with parts because the width was custom, and built it to fit the IBC tote. Reach burnout today and stop here.

    The tote is 275 gallons.

Re: My Cabin Property On 40 Acres

Made good progress. With a water tank on the front, I moved the axle forward 3 inches and undersprung the axle vs oversprung.

Moved axle above the leafs vs under to lower it some.

My Kawasaki Mule tow ball isnt too high up.

I reached burnout Sunday and was out of gas.

No, out of gas in 2 areas.

I was tired of working on this, and my MIG welder ran out of shield gas.

Well, it was about to have about 10 PSI left.

So next Saturday, exchange the bottle of shield gas, weld on fenders, state pockets, and a few D rings to secure the IBC tote.

    Assembling fenders

Not secured, just sitting on tires.

Notice Millie, my female French bulldog, is keeping an eye on me.

I have three Frenchies, two of which are males, Maxx and Nugget.

I have dog treats in the garage, and they always scam me for them.

Stake pockets and stake board racks next weekend

The pump and hose will sit on the tailboard, extending several feet past the tote.

I will haul up to the cabin on the 19th, tote it in the back of my truck, and trailer it inside my trailer.

I do have all my receipts for metal and parts in case I ever want to title this trailer, but not planning on it.
