Ahh, yeah, junction box.
Same thing.
Like I said, perfect design.
You shouldn't have any issues unless someone digs into it.

Would there be a disconnect, i.e., those knife switches in there, too?
And any BUS fuses?

Most likely there are load break elbows on each end of the cables that plug into a buss.
This pic shows the elbow fitting to a transformer, but it gives you an idea.

No fuses in that cabinet.
There should be a line fuse on the pole where it transitions from overhead wire to underground.
Then, the transformer has a replaceable fuse on the low side to protect against a dead short on the service wires.
Everything in between is disconnect points.

Thanks, Power247. I am a very mechanical person, and I would love to know more about this stuff.
It's always concealed.
Good news: I got my first power bill today.
I've never been so excited to pay for power with zero use.
I will pay a flat $40 a month just to be hooked up.
It was only a half month.
I was in the middle of a billing cycle.
All set up in my banker online bill payer, a mouse click, and it was paid.

Other patches they have made me.
Of course, I have all kinds of stickers, too.

Corkster, a little over a month out, headed to the cabin, it would be me with a trailer, a pal with a trailer, and another pal with his small JD backhoe.
We are trimming the wire run to the cabin (terminating the ends) and burying a large 4-wire run of 6AWG to campsite 1 for a full 50A/30A/20A RV hookup.
I was punching in a new campsite for the camp host, close to the cabin with a power hookup (just a 30A RV plug).
Then my pal will smooth over the roads where they crossed with power.
He will also be making a trail all the way around the fenceline inside to run the fence, looking for repairs/breaks.
We head up end of April.
PM me if you want to hang out.
I have nice wholesome buddys, salt of the earth types.
PM me for dates, I think you have the address. I have water and a shower on site.
At this time of the year, decent during the days, can be cold at night.
About six weeks till we head over.
Guaranteed you will like what you see.
