    DEF Tank Removal?

I have an entirely deleted 2019 RAM Cummins 2500.

Is there a step-by-step forum answer somewhere about removing the DEF tank?

What I want to know is, do you drop the tank and then connect the line and harnesses?

I don't see a way to get to them without dropping the tank first.

Attached is the removal procedure for my 2014.

Your 2019 should be similar; they recommend lowering the tank slightly with a floor jack and then disconnecting the wiring.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.

Did you put the def tank mount/brace back after you removed the tank?

My DEF tank is still in place, and I was only providing information to help answer the question.

If I had removed mine, I would have reinstalled the crossmember.

See post #4 in the link below.

I put the crossmember back and added a compressor and air tank.
