ARP Headstud Question - Blowing White Smoke?

So I just finished a head stud change with ARP 425 and installed them one at a time, taking my time.

I put everything back together and started the truck, and it started blowing white out of the exhaust pipe when I used the throttle should I be concerned?

When the cover was off, did anything drop in?

Did you use any ARP stud lubrication in an excessive amount that could be burning off somewhere?

You mention deleting in the thread.

What all did you do before studs?

Re: ARP Headstud Question - Blowing White Smoke?

I kept everything clean when the cover was off.

I possibly could have used a bit much arp lubricant, and I just had an EGR removal and nothing else after that, just head studs.

Re: ARP Headstud Question - Blowing White Smoke?

    What year?

    Was the throttle valve disconnected?

Was it the initial startup right after?

Could it be that your truck can breathe now, and does it calm down at all once it's up to temp?

Was every torque spec rotation done precisely on the studs?

Does the dipstick look like a chocolate milk color? I hope not for your sake.

Was there a follow-up with the doctor for the changes?

    Few things to pound, friend.
