    AlfaOBD Adapter?

    I have a 2014 2500, anyone with AlfaOBD?

I don't know if I need an adaptor wire.

Also, I have a link FS USB to the OBD adaptor.

I use it for the scan.

    Will that work with AlfaOBD?

    Thanks for any advice.

2014 2500 on Fuel rims, custom aluminum grill emblem, mm3 DRD tuned, 4” jamo tbe exhaust, led fog lights, steering box brace, took Vinyl off doors.

Would I need anything besides the OBD link MX To hook to the truck?

No, plug the adapter in the OBD port, and you will be ready.

Question for this on 2018s with the security muddle.

If i use a bypass cable for the alpha OBD, will the original obd port still be viable for the MM3 to stay hooked to?

    I don’t believe so.

To have AlfaOBD and MM3 going simultaneously, you would need a splitter.

The use of splitters with the MM3 is hit-and-miss.

I guess you could try it, but no guarantee.

    Please keep us posted.

I have the hard wired bypass cable on mine.

It removes the original pins In the obd port and replaces them with the bypass ones that connect to the star connectors.

It works fine with my MM3.

The dealership scan tool does not work after using the hard wired bypass since witech has to read the security gate way on 2018 up trucks.

Thanks for this information, will the OP be able to run Alfaobd and the MM3 simultaneously?

If so do you have a part number or source of supply for the hardwired bypass cable?

    Re: AlfaOBD Adapter?

This wasn’t the splitter style, so no, you can’t run alpha pod and MM3 at the same time.

Type in SGW bypass RAM 2500 on eBay, and they will pop up.
