STP Full Synthetic 5W-40?

Does anyone use STP Full Synthetic Diesel 5W-40?

I can't seem to find any Valvoline or Rotella around here.

I have not used the STP personally, but I understand the others can be hard to find or overpriced.

I use the Rotella, so it's the same for me. I have decided on my following oil change to go with the Amsoil synthetic.

Have no issues with availability, and if you sign up for their membership on their website, you get 25% off everything while the membership is good.

It was $20/yr, and you usually save more than that on the first order.

Some of the vendors here may also have competitive prices, so it wouldn't be a bad thing to check with them.

All of them are great, and I would instead support them, even if it's a few dollars extra.

I just swapped my oil to Amsoil 5w40 x6.

They say you can go 15 to 20k until you need to change the fluid.

I'll give my feedback when I get up there.

I plan to swap out filters every 5k miles to ensure it stays cleaner.

They also offer an x3 premium oil which is 4$ more a quart which didn't make sense to me; you're getting half the mileage than the x6.

We do have vendors that can help you out.

I don't think I would ever buy STP anything anymore.

However, I run house brand Oil and Walmart transmission fluid with no issues.

I stick with Mopar oil filters and Mopar fuel filters.

If you mean Wal-Mart Supertech by house brand, it is the same as Mobil Delvac.

I know alot of guys who use it in their older Cummins.
