    Drag Beam Link?

My truck is over 81k and looking to get a front-end alignment done.

I am aware of the recall to where RAM welded the jam nuts on the OEM drag link.

When talking to my dealer, they explained that they would have to order another drag link to replace the welded one.

Also, this would need to be done every time the truck needs to be aligned.

I know some people have gone with an aftermarket drag link.

I found one online and wanted some input on it.

    Thanks for the help.

I recommend getting under your truck and looking at it for yourself if possible.

Most dealers only put a small tack weld on there, which doesn’t penetrate very far.

Usually, they can grind off the tach weld and adjust the drag link. I have the original drag link on mine and will not let the dealer weld it to do the recall.

It’s my truck, and they don’t own it, so they don’t get to weld on it.

I’ve heard good things about the Synergy drag link but have no direct experience with it.

Just loc-tight the nuts and torque it down.

Maine hasn’t moved in a couple of years.

I know many folks here have purchased that bar and like it.

We have it in stock: https://ddpmotorsports.com/i-30539811?q=8701-01

I put it on my 2018 with about 10k'ish miles.

You can weld or Loctite the jam nuts, but both were a band-aid, IMO.

I have thought about grinding the spot welds off and keeping it on there.

I'm just thinking of replacing the whole thing.

RAMS solution to the issue is a retarded fix at that.

I will keep you in mind when I pull the trigger.

It doesn't look hard to change out at all.

My question is, do you need to realign the truck after installation?

I would recommend it after installation.

Best choice of bars you could buy.

Replaceable links when the time comes instead of the whole shindig.

I would make the purchase with our vendor cumminsdieselfreak.

II 60HP STICKS, II 33% CP3, II S464 2ND GEN SWAP, FASS 165 TITANIUM SIGNATURE SERIES, AFE INTAKE HORN, S&B FILTER, 5" TURBO BACK, ALPHAREX HEAD LIGHTS, 38X13.5X20 RAZOR M/T, MOTO METAL RIMS, 6" LA LIFT KIT, COMPLET MM3 KIT, BUILT TRANSMISSION, 6 BOLT REDHEAD STEERING BOX
