Thread: Going Down The Rabbit Hole!

    Going Down The Rabbit Hole!

Does anyone have any regrets about deleting your truck?

Is it what you hoped for as far as performance and reliability?

    I own a 2018 Ram 2500 with 41,000 miles on it.

I bought it used last year with approximately 35,000 miles on it.

Most of the miles I’ve put on it are from towing my RV.

The only upgrade I’ve done is the Revmax zero flex valve body and Thuren rear track bar.

My main objective is reliability, and if I can squeeze a couple of extra MPG, all the better!

    How is the transmission tuning?

I feel the stock tuning leaves a little to be desired.

Towing my RV always seems to be in too high of a gear.

I tuned mine at 20k miles, and currently have 100,110 miles on it now.

The best upgrade you can do for your truck.

I did see 3 mpg improvement over stock.

    Now with the transmission I couldn’t tell you, I have a G56.

I know others will chime in with their experiences and transmission.

No regrets here; just over 10K miles since tuning.

I can’t give you a transmission review since I have the Aisin.

Better throttle response, more power, no trouble codes.

Fuel mileage hand calculated 1-2 mpg better, no DEF and less soot in the oil.
