5100 Vs Carli 5100 Signature Series?

I am looking to replace these stock shocks on my 13 2500.

It’s currently leveled and looking at Bilstein 5100 or these Carli signature series which cost $150 more, and not sure if it’s worth it if anyone has experience with them.

Carlis is supposed to be valved to match their springs.

    Do you have Carli-level springs?

If not, I'd use regular 5100s.

No looks like there's just a spacer in there.

Would links be something to look into on these trucks with a level and 35s?

Springs as well or should these still be good at 165k?

I already have a new Bilstein stabilizer and steering brace on the way.

He said that if you’re running factory springs, the off-the-shelf 5100s will be fine.

I run the same setup, and my truck is leveled with 37s and Thuren springs.

Rides are great for a 3/4t truck, but a speed bump will blow right through the compression damping.

I have a nice divot in my left spring bucket from where the track bar mount hit it at least twice.

That was at low speed on a construction road.

Did you level it with a spacer?

Prev owner looks to have leveled with spacer, yes.

I can’t remember what Carli is running for front spring rates.

I ran his rear springs on my 2nd Gen but not his fronts.

Pretty sure they’re lower than the factory spring rate.

I’m running Thuren springs on my 3rd gen, and they’re pretty soft.

I need more damping than I can get out of the 5100, but my trans decided it was done, so there went my shock money.

    I’d recommend the off-the-shelf 5100s with a factory spring.

Save your money and go to 2.5’s if you want more.

I prefer Thuren, but I’ve done stuff with Don and Sage; I can’t go wrong with either.

I went with 5100s and will run there until I decide down the road to get a better lift setup.
