    MM3 GDP Tunes?

So this is my first RAM coming from a Powerstroke.

The truck is a 2020 RAM 2500, and I purchased a (kit) online that came with tunes already; it was either their house Tunes or GDP.

Has anyone ever run the GDP Tunes till I can save up some more $ and purchase some tunes from DRD?

    Thanks for any info.

    Re: MM3 GDP Tunes?

I purchased a kit online recently as well.

MM3 with GDP pre-loaded tunes and trans tuning.

I’ve been running them for a couple of weeks now, and they’ve been great.

Cold start-up gets a little puff of smoke, and when you put the hammer down, you get a little puff but nothing terrible.

Driveability is good, far better than stock. I like the trans tuning as well.

I’ve been monitoring all the changes between stock vs. tuned going back and forth, which also looks good on the tuner screen.

    So far, I’m pretty happy.

The truck is 2015 3500 with 215k on the clock.

I also have a friend with the same truck with DRD tuning; we’ll get a chance to compare them.

Note on trans tuning* at first drive, it shifted hard and weird at first, so I drove it pretty light.

The trans learned and adapted now shifts good and firm and keeps the R’s up instead of quick shifts and lugging.

I run mine on tow, which I believe is a 60hp bump.

This truck is used for hauling my boat (12,000lbs) and plowing snow, so there is no intention of getting too crazy with it on power.

I'm glad you like their tunes, and thanks for the post.

I searched everywhere for Info on GDP and couldn't find any made me nervous, so I just went with DRD.

I still have the GDP Tunes; they're just for when I had a CP4 pump, so they are useless.
