    EZ Lynk Failed Flash

Ok had a local tuner come to me and try to flash my truck (2019 RAM Cummins dually).

It went to 6%, then failed the flash.

We did have the battery charger on 40A, but the batteries were fully charged.

Whenever we try to establish communications, no dice.

Does anyone know how to recover one of these ECM's?

One thing to note is I did unplug both batteries at midnight and haven't touched the truck since.

    Please help.

Once this is complete, I will finally be able to try out my Allison Swap.

One thing I failed to mention is that we did use the BOD security cable (+2018 Dodge RAM Cummins HD 2.0 SGW Bypass Cable – BOD Engineering).

Unfortunately, they didn't send any directions with it.

It doesn't even have the normal colored plugs that everyone uses (white and blue) vs. (white and green) to everyone else's cable.

Can you flash back to stock first, and did you get any errors?

    Thank you,

Ok, there have been multiple issues found.

The security cable is one issue not having instructions for the proper connection locations which caused us to be locked out.

    See attached pic.

I did get connected to it and it is recognizing that recovery is needed, so that is good.

Now lets see what BOD Engineering has to say.

    Thanks igotacummins for the recommendation.

I already thought about that, but I cannot get past the 1% upload regardless of the tune file.

Ok, I believe I am about to put this to bed.

The local tuner has been fired.

Apparently, they were using a flash from the incorrect year.

I have ordered the Autocal through MotorOps CA.

These are the guys who do the tuning for ATS.

Hopefully, this will solve all my issues.

Did the Autocal work like a charm?

I'm currently in the same boat you were in and looking for any help I can get.

I had the same thing happen.

I had the key fob in my pocket and got out of the truck while flashing.

Bricked the PCM and had to have it bench flashed.
