2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.
I have had the Allison installed for over a year (working into my 2nd year) and had ZERO issues.
All of my previous evaluations are still as they stand.
I pull heavy still with my gooseneck and use my car hauler regularly.
The transmission has been the best decision i have ever made.
I have modified several vehicles and owned 40; of the 40 I owned, 30 were highly modified.
If i purchased a new RAM, I would also buy this conversion immediately!
I have ZERO regrets.
Great thread; I love the girth and massiveness of that, Allison.
What a sweet set up.
Did you have to alter the rear trans mount?
Did the case end up in the exact location, so no driveline changes, i.e., longer or shorter?

Allison has a different footprint, and they have an adaptor for the rear mount.
The transfer case will bolt up to the rear housing.
You will have to modify front and rear drive shafts.
The only issue I have encountered is the earlier Allison GM Tail shaft housing on the 4x4 adaptor to the transfer case cracked, so GM came out with a stronger housing.
I currently have an older ATS conversion.
Mine is a 6-speed w/co-pilot, their top-of-the-line converter, and it is far better than the Pro Built 68RFE because eggshell cases have hairline cracks.
I built my 68 and had cases crack, so I threw this POS 68RFE away for scrape.
My Allison suffered no case cracks; I have had this for years.
NO transmission rebuilder company warranty for a cracked case.
