    Standpipe Leaking Coolant?

Hey guys, I’m having trouble with my standpipe leaking coolant, and from what I see, it’s a pretty common problem.

I’ve taken it apart, and the o-ring is busted.

I’ve seen some delete the standpipe altogether and was curious what all of you have done to fix the problem.

Pusher intake makes a standpipe delete, and has anyone got any feedback on that or other recommendations?

I had this issue also, installed this adapter from Glacier Diesel Power, and no more leaks.

You are welcome, and it’s a precision machined piece of top quality and well designed.

Just a quick tip, when you install it lubricate the O ring with a light coat of coolant and tighten the set screws evenly, so the adapter remains centered over the standpipe tube.

Get the OEM green oring from the dealership.

The ones that come in the delete kits don’t seem to last.

Good point, the O ring that comes with the GD adapter is the OEM ring.
