Anyone Running Calibrated Power Stealth 64 VGT Drop In Turbo?

I got the sales email yesterday, and it reminded me to ask.

Now that it has been out for about a year I am looking for any feedback. + or -. Or better alternatives if you have some. Not sure I want compounds, but I do want better spool up!

I already have the rest of the work done (built trans, push rods, springs, head studs, deletes, MM3, intake, etc..) my plan it to add a FASS and Turbo now.

Then will come back and do CP3 and Injectors in a few months when cash opens up.

    Target = RELIABLE 650 hp

    Thanks

I should have an update for you guys in a few weeks.

I rolled the dice since they are local but haven’t seen any negative or positive feedback on it either.

I just received mine the other day.

I’ll be running this in a month and an S480 over the top.

Calibrated does specify they don’t want anything funky going on with the vane tables in the tuning, and also make sure your tuner leaves a shaft speed limit in place.

They were good with 150-155k rpm shaft speed.

This is the only VGT charger on the market that addresses the exhaust nozzle, not just throwing in larger turbine and compressor wheels.

I’m excited to see how it performs!

@DRD have you tuned the stealth charger yet?

I just put one in my 2016, and so far so good.

I'm still breaking in my trans but overall very happy with the first 100 miles.

It sounds killer, that is also a plus.

I’ve been considering this; please let me know how you like it and how it performs.

What do you have for fueling?

Here is an update on things for those interested.

I’m still breaking in my transmission.

About 80 miles so far. I haven’t got above 42% throttle, but the truck drives so nicely.

The power / get up and go it has is pretty cool with just 30-40% throttle inputs.

At that throttle input, I’ve seen 10-13lbs of boost.

I’ll log more miles tomorrow/ this weekend and make another post on my progress.

    Take care, team.

Re: Anyone Running Calibrated Power Stealth 64 VGT Drop In Turbo?

Break in on things has continued to go well until running into a new issue.

After about 300 miles on the new transmission, I went for my first freeway drive.

When I get to about 20psi of boost, the truck falls flat. Like it stalls out, the turbo barks a bit from the instant fall off.

Let off the throttle, and we are back moving.

40-45% has been my max throttle.

Right before shifting, @ 20psi of boost party stops.

So I have some digging to do before we get back to things.

I have been on the forum, getting an idea of what might be the cause.

I did many things at once, so I expected I'd have some things to work through.

When I get her dialed in, I'll report back on the turbo and how she is.

    Until then, take care, Team.
