Good Reason To Change Your Own Oil

The owner is being sued because the tech didn’t know how to operate a manual vehicle resulting in the death of another tech?

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of.

It pays to do your oil change, I guess.

I saw this on another forum as well.

    It's a pretty crazy situation.

While it appears that the vehicle owner will not have any negative vehicle repercussions, this is more proof that we have some crazy laws on the books.

I know this is an old post, but the reason is to get money from the insurance.

    The owner isn’t at fault.

It’s just who’s insurance is going to pay for it kind of thing.

Because the vehicle was involved, they’re going after the owner's insurance.

Yes, looking for money, first, car owner, then the dealership.

We call manual transmissions at my shop "millennium theft devices."

My two daughters' first cars were both stick shifts; they learned on a stick.

Everyone in my family can drive a stick, even if they don't own one now.
