I did get one code during this test run that never appeared on the truck before.
I cleared the code and no change.

I'm hesitant to throw out other answers to you buddy.
I would get a hold of the Doctor.
If the truck is on a weight loss diet, the Ultra shouldn't even see the previous shed weight.
This is a fluke somewhere; what was the error msg the first go around.

This is first time it was tuned, maybe you mis-understood my initial post.

I would say zero chance of a transmission re-learn causing your issues.
The EGR is a possibility that may be worth looking into.
I assume it is already electrically disconnected, so it should be normally closed.
If it ran well before tuning, it would have had to mechanically stuck open since then.
The only way I know to prove that would be to remove the EGR valve and check it’s closed.
If it isn’t, block the flow with a home made plate where the EGR valve attaches to the intake manifold.
If you can rule out the EGR and re-flashing the tunes, don’t fix the issues.
Check to make sure you didn’t unplug anything else after the truck ran fine.

Thanks for ruling out trans.
I was going stealth and told on my truck everything can remain plugged in.
I will dosconnect everything tomorrow tune to stock with deletes on charger and go from there.
You did remove the DPF and SCR, right?

LOL.
Yes, it was a fun job, and they were spotless inside.
Good morning, happy Monday, LOL.
I am heading down to work on the truck and fixing my garage door.
I had a good running truck; let def get low and got "service def, see dealer 5mph max speed in 150 miles".
The code was for the doser valve, and I said screw this fragile system and bought ultra.
I had fully charged batteries and charger on, installed tuner no problem.
Said installation was a success and gave the pipe a deep cleaning, and started the truck, which seemed to idle and rev well.
I could not test drive till the next day and took out the truck, and it was a smoky mess; I could not get out of its way.
Speed will not go over 70, and throttle input is not doing much past 1/4-half throttle.
I tried diff tunes, and all were a mess and nowhere near stock power.
Default everything(120) seemed best to get back home.
During the test run, two codes appeared that I never got before tuner - P2048 AND PO868, those were on higher hp settings, which just billowed soot, and the truck could barely go 45mph.
Filters are clean, and again truck ran terrific before.
I did not want to be left stranded on one of my road trips, so I went for the diet.
On my "stealth" goals, I was told that all plugs could be left intact, and I did not unplug anything.
Today, I will put on the charger, disconnect the plugs, and try again.
If anyone has come across this problem, I would appreciate the input.
Thanks.
Disconnected all plugs needed, cut two rubber hoses, still not accelerating past 70, struggles to get from 45-70, less power than stock even with a stock setting with deletes.
Did total return to stock and driver and pass window stopped working and power fold in mirrors!
Please help.
Please get rid of that box tune and get an actual CUSTOM tune designed for your rig by the doctor who knows what he’s doing.
Thanks for the updates
