Just unsure if it would cause a conflict or not.

    Typically, I run the 200hp
Be easy with the 200hp tune especially in 5th-6th.

You will still burn up ud-od clutch’s when the stock drum is used.

I would get clarification on the od section ask if he used the sonnax drum or used a machined pressure plate for the stock drum.

Sonnax drum you are good with 200 tune but stock drum with 14 od stack I wouldn’t recommend 200 tune.

There’s 8 snap rings just in the input drum assembly 14 total if I’m counting in my head correctly (it’s late and I’m burnt out LOL) mixture of beveled flat and one wavy.

I would assume he used a machined plate; I don't ever recall seeing or hearing Sonnax

Revmax triple disc converters are $1500 retail.

Thats with a billet stator, not a modified factory stator like most cheaper converter builders use.

I can guarantee there is nothing that can be put In a converter that will make it cost more than Revmaxs.

I don’t want to say you got burned, but you should have at least been given a Sonnax drum for the money you spent.

    It’s a $400 dollar upgrade.

I get the guys have been in business for 30-plus years.

I’ve seen this scenario play out too many times.

For performance, 68RFEs stick with the guys who specialize in them.

You will always get a better trans at a better price than the guy who builds every make every model.

    Thanks for the feedback.

If it gives out again, I'll just show up again.

Still have a lot of time left on the warranty.

Meantime, I'll save for some other goodies for the trans.
