    TPMS Sensor Issue?

I have had my front passenger tire pressure sensor seemingly going in and out for a while now.

I'll be driving without any warning.

I get a message that says service tire pressure system, and I lose the reading of that sensor.

I recently got my tires replaced and I'm not sure if they moved the sensor or not but I am still losing the measurement of that tire pressure.

Any idea what is causing it or how I can fix it?

It sounds like you need a new tire sensor.

I would replace all of them.

If one goes, the rest will follow.

Are there any special replacement procedures such as programming or anything like that?

I'm guessing that the sensor is attached to the tire stem so it would need to be done at a tire shop that can actually separate the wheels and tires?

Nope, have them installed and drive a few miles, and they should calibrate.

The tire must be separated from the rim to get the valve stem sensor replaced.

Unfortunately, the sensors are a throw away once the battery dies.

    Easy enough, thank you.

Doing a quick search, I found part number 56029398AB. Is this the correct one for a 2014 RAM 2500?

Maybe both part numbers are for that year's model truck?

    Perfect, thank you also.

Before ordering anything, I'll make sure to either input my VIN for reference or call the dealership to confirm the correct part.

    Thanks again!
