Creaking Front End Sound Discovered! What is it?

I finally figured out the source of my creaking sound when I turned my wheel.

Now can someone tell me what the heck it is?

I'm not too familiar with steering components.

    If that matters, it's a 2014 RAM 2500 with a Pro Comp 4" lift.

Perhaps anyone can identify a part number online?

That would be the passenger side tie rod end.

I'm guessing based on what I've been seeing, that I need to replace the entire bar?

    or

You'll need an alignment done to get proper wear on the tires.

Forgive my ignorance, but I don't see any way anything screws into this.

    Am I missing something?

I'm not familiar with the newer Cummins

Let me do some research for you.

I thought it was the same; the pic, it does look like a solid piece, but that doesn't make sense to me.

I don't believe you can replace just the tie rod.

I would recommend a Synergy mfg one as well.

You would need the whole assembly, but it would allow you in the future to replace only the worn-out one.

I believe you are correct; if you want to stay with the factory-style bar, you will need to replace it.

If you upgrade to the Synergy bar, then you will have the option to replace the ends if necessary at a later date.

If I upgrade to the Synergy one, I'm guessing I lose the steering dampener on the factory bar?

Sure does look like you would need to order the bracket and shock separate.

The instructions don’t address installing the bracket and shock.

Strange, they do picture both with the bar.

I would give them a call before ordering; please keep us posted.
