Well, I went to install the GDP horn and start the thing up, but the horn doesn't clear the #1 injector line; ugh.

I tried loosening the line, loosening the rail and all the connections on it to see if the rail needed to shift, but no luck.

It fits on fine without the #1 injector line installed, so I know that part is okay.

Has anyone ever dealt with this?

I got the horn to fit and started her up.

After a few seconds of being started, there's a weird ticking sound from the front end.

I turned it off and started it up again; it was the same noise after about 5-10 seconds.

Does anybody know what this is?

    Never mind, I'm a dummy.

The stupid coolant clip was undone, and the fan was hitting it.

Anyways, I took it for a drive and warmed it up.

    Ran great.

    Now onto the turbo.

You should be able to view it now!

    I fixed the issue, though.

Well, I got most everything done this last weekend except the gauges.

    The difference is crazy!

The turbo is much louder than expected as well as the exhaust.

    Builds boost reasonably fast.

I still don't have my 60 PSI gauge in, so I don't know what it's making yet.

Still have a bunch of cleaning up to do under the hood but the major stuff is done.

Not sure yet how I'm going to support the dipstick.

I want to get rid of the factory drive pressure sensor, but I'm not sure I can do that.

It's coming together, man; I like it.

I think you can throw a 10-bar map sensor in to have the monitor show higher boost levels.

I know the cts3 you can with "pixie dust" on top to work properly.

    Thanks, man.

I heard mixed things about those, so I got the dual column pod for boost and fuel pressure.

Im going to run the egt probe to my monitor, though.
