Still leaning towards the IH s366 but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Typically when you are turning high RPM often or 50+PSI regularly.

The 366sxe will be in the 50psi range at full tilt. I make 46psi with my 364sxe (stock fuel).

I was tired and didn’t read the previous post correctly.

My apologies I was doing research and half shared what I’m learning it was late.

The 650 made me think about the setup I’m looking at.

    What I believe I found was a 3G swap with 10mm CP3 I’d be topping out at 650. \

    I never said a CP3 would give you 100hp.

I’m new to this diesel stuff and trying to learn, I know nothing.

Just sharing what someone with experience shared with me.

Ironing out a couple of different build lists.

Will a stock CP3 support the 15% overs I have?

On max effort tune with long duration?

I could be the wrong buck, and I believe a healthy stock CP3 will do just fine for 15% over.

But unsure if you'll lag the fuel on top of the max tune.

However, if your tuned, I'm assuming you already have the injectors in the equation?

Or if the thought is just a general list, then who does the tune can pull or adjust for your current setup.

Don't quote me; someone else will.

Chime in on this, I'm sure.

Well, pulled the trigger on everything (for now)
    today...

the build including what I have already will be:
    -drd tunes
    -ddp 15% over injectors
    -s&b intake
    -arp 2000 head studs
-airdog 165 w/ beans sump kit
-GDP horn, grid heater delete and relocate
    -Iron horn s366sxe/80/1.0
    -hamilton 103# springs and pushrods
    -fleece coolant bypass
    -egt probe
    -fleece fuel filter delete

I dont think i really left any holes in the supporting mods, except a tranny obviously. eventually id like swap out the s&b and get rid of the active air altogether along with doing the intercooler piping. This is already going to be a real handful for me to install myself.

its unclear to me if ill need a riser delete to work in conjunction with the bypass, it appears fleece has discontinued it.

ETA: While i have the injectors out for valve springs i may send them off to get 90hp nozzles put on. eventually upgrade to a 10mm stroker CP3 in conjunction

It sounds like your completely Set.

I want to know the story on how this goes if you don't mind.

Your truck is about to wake the heck up man LOL.

I went with INDUSTRIAL. INJECTION for the price, location, warranty for my 10mm an injectors

When i go twins ill jump up a bit on new injectors, revmax 700\850 is taking priority.

If your married i strongly suggest some spa treatment for a lady's night out after blowing that bill.

Things are starting to trickle in.

I also decided to order a DDP 10mm stroker, DDP 90hp nozzles, and the WC fab intake.

Re: BD Iron Horn Vs 2nd Gen Swap?

Update: I finished putting in the Airdog 165, Beans sump, and Fleece fuel filter delete today.

    It started up just fine.

I'm going to put in a few more gallons of diesel to ensure the seal around the sump is holding before I fill it up.

Tomorrow im going to get going on the CP3, head studs, valve springs, push rods, injector nozzles, grid heater delete, new intake horn, new valve cover.

Once all that's wrapped up onto the iron horn kit, coolant bypass, new intake.
