Quick update: 2weeks ago, I installed Xotic studs in my 13 6.7L Cummins.
The process says that after running the engine to temp several cycles to recheck the torque.
I’m running the equivalent to the ARP 2000 studs, not the 625s.
I checked them yesterday, and 5 of the 26 made a slight turn, maybe 15 degrees each.
Not a terrible job to recheck them.
Installing studs and rechecking them is time-consuming, but anyone with reasonable mechanical skills and proper tools can do this.
They should be good for many miles now.
I’ll post if I have any issues.
