I curve reset at the dealer, and it’s for the TCC solenoid on the bottom of the valve body; I avoided this by having my builder reuse the TCC solenoid; it was low miles anyway.

You are shooting for injectors for the hp range, and pumps will be a must.

When I did mine, I went backward and did the trans last; if I were to do it again, I’d do it first, LOL.

It never failed me, but it was no fun babying because I knew what would happen if I pushed it.

I’m running Evil Fab 2g swap 472/87/1.0 with a 10mm and ss 100 overs, studs, coolant bypass, FASS, and a sump, and it runs pretty well.

Also, send an email to DRD and ask about tuning it; he told me he didn’t want to mess with mine because of the bigger injectors and the higher hp; maybe he’s doing it now?

Not sure, something was different on the Gen 5 and high hp he didn’t want to mess with.
How do you like the Evil Fab kit?

I’ve been looking at them but also contemplating building my own.

Can it be driven after the PI curve has been reset?

    Or how does it work?

    Thanks

I’m assuming you mean before the pi curve is reset.

Some work fine others have had issues with lock up or having the torque converter pushing through the brakes at stops.

Yes, I intended to replace my transmission myself and wasn't sure if the reset needed to be done before the swap or if it was drivable.

I wonder if dealers would know what I was asking them to do or if this was pretty common practice.

Yeah, you should be fine to do it after the installation.

    I wouldn't wait long, though.

The QR code is on the TCC solenoid on the valve body.

I'd get the code before you install the trans.

Otherwise, the pan has to come back off to get the code.

If they have a transmission tech, they should be aware of it, and there's plenty of documentation of it.

    I like it.

    Everything fits well.

I did make a couple of minor changes, it had a plastic coolant tee that I replaced with metal, and the turbo mount bolts I changed to studs.
