    Does The MM3 Have Memory?

My question is after you load your tunes on your ECM, do you have to leave your SD card in the MM3 to change hp settings on the fly.

You need to make a backup file for that card.

If the card goes bad, and it happened to me.

    Your tunes are gone.

Unfortunately, I didn't buy the Tuner even though it wasn't a month old when I bought it and the truck.

My son's truck is stuck in the one tune that it was set on until I buy more tunes.

Just curious, why would you leave the MM3 but remove the SD card?

Our card went bad. Worked fine for months.

The tuner is useless for now.

Says, "SD card bad" can't do anything.

I don't know what messed it up, but I see a lot of SD cards go bad for no apparent reason.

I have around 20 I rotate in my hunting cameras.

I’ve had the same SD card in my MM3 for the past 5 years with no issues.

I'm sorry we strayed from your question.

My point was the fact that I had and issue.

I think the tunes are stored on the SD card, not the programmer.

Someone else with more knowledge of the hardware should answer.
