    Alignment Questions

Still have problems pulling left, but I was finally told my rear toe is not in spec.

My thrust angle s pointed slightly right, which caused the truck to pull left from the rear-ended, wanting to center the tires/axel.

Does anyone know of any way to fix thrust angle?

I’m taking it into the dealer to have them look at it, just seeing if anyone else has experienced an out-of-spec rear end on the 2020 Cummins or just the four-link back end Cummins.

    Re: Alignment Questions

If you had a 3500, I would say to loosen U bolts and measure/center axle and Tighten.

Your 2500 4 links should still have some for and aft-shift ability.

How many miles are on your truck, and is this your first time getting an alignment? Did you get new tires and do an alignment?

I thought factory specs were like .020. or it's—02 something like that.

I have heard of new truck owners finding thrust angle an issue when they get the first alignment done after getting new tires, lift, etc. this could be a factory issue.

This also happens when someone is in a vehicle wreck and gets repaired, but the frame axle is not restored.

You can measure center cap to center cap or inner wheel lip to wheel lip after finding the center between frame rails.

You then will know what side has shifted.

It then looked for a bent control arm and bent Trac bar to look at the mounts.

Also need to see if the axle is squared and not just centered.

One of the axle ends could be slightly forward or back.

There is likely more that I forget to say.

    Re: Alignment Questions

Your post is missing some key info to offer any valuable help.

Is your truck leaf spring or coil spring rear end?

Suspension set up, lifted leveled or stock - track bar drop brackets or adjustable track bar if lifted.

Can you post a pic of the alignment print out?

Rear toe is not adjustable and is not shown as a in spec or out of spec reading it is greyed out on hunter alignment racks at least.

So I’m curious how they determined rear toe is out of spec.
